Burger King made headlines last year when a 4-year-old found a Marijuana pipe in his kids meal. A McDonalds in Pennsylvania is dealing with a similar incident themselves.
26-year-old Shantia Dennis was arrested last week for selling heroin to two undercover narcotics officers that came through the drive thru at her McDonalds.
Customers would call Dennis ahead of time to place their heroin orders, then they would come through the drive thru and say “I’d like to order a toy”.
Asking for a boy’s toy in particular was a code word for wanting heroin. The undercover officers did everything they needed to do to catch Shantia which included asking for a “boy’s toy”.
The officers paid $82 dollars for their “Happy Meal,” (a standard happy meal cost $2) so that gave the officers a clue. The second clue was the obvious: the officers received a happy meal containing 10 bags of heroin.
When Shantia was arrested cops found another brick of heroin in her purse marked with the stamp “Nite Nite Niga”. (Yes, that’s exactly what it said)
Since the incident occurred, Dennis has been charged with two counts of possession (heroin and marijuana), one count of criminal use of a cellphone, one count of prohibited acts of delivery, and one count of possession with intent to deliver.
This is the second incident this year involving a Pennsylvania McDonalds employee dealing heroin. At the time of the arrest, Dennis denied all of the accusations.
