TerpZone Holds Late-Night Cosmic Bowling Event for UMD’s Students

UMD students enjoyed a night of Cosmic Bowling as Adele H. Stamp Student Union’s division of student affairs hosted four hours of glow-in-the-dark festivities at TerpZone Friday Night.

Located in the basement of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, TerpZone is known to offer daily recreational activities to students, parents and College Park residents in general.

“It’s just a fun place for students to relax, bring friends, celebrate friends and have a good time on campus,” said first-year grad School of Public Heath student Morgan Williams.

In addition o bowling, TerpZone offers billiards, Ping-Pong tables, video games, a regular activities room and a series of TVs that students can use.

Groups can also reserve locker rentals, birthday parties and happy birthday bowling pins upon request.

Freshman biology major Cassie Herman and her friend decided to try out TerpZone for the first time Friday and look forward to coming back more often during the school year.

“We checked it out a couple times but hadn’t actually come in to play yet or anything…and figured we might as well give it a try tonight…Its been pretty nice so far,” said Herman.
