The Late Skate Provides Students With A Unique Alternative

For the second year in a row, University of Maryland students Aziz Sani and Jeremie Lecuyer have decided to venture beyond throwing the “ultimate Friday night college party.” Instead, they are continuing their innovative approach to the average weekend’s festivities. For only $10 (with the price of skates included), students in the DMV area can enjoy a late night skating/pajama party.

The Late Skate will feature music played by the infamous DJ K-Meta and Mista Selecta.

The event combines pajama wear and skating for some “good, clean fun.” Check out my interview with one of the Late Skate coordinators about the details of this event.
